Additionally, we would like to point out that in the USA, data subjects from Switzerland do not have any legal remedies that allow them to gain access to the data concerning them and to obtain their correction or deletion, respectively, there is no effective judicial protection against general access rights of US authorities. We explicitly draw the data subject's attention to this legal and factual situation so that they can make an informed decision about consenting to the use of their data. Users residing in an EU member state are also advised that the USA does not have an adequate level of data protection from the perspective of the European Union, among other things, due to the issues mentioned in this section. In so far as we have explained in this privacy policy that recipients of data (such as Google, Facebook, and Twitter) have their headquarters in the USA, we will ensure either by contractual arrangements with these companies or by ensuring the certification of these companies under the EU-US Privacy Shield that your data is protected with our partners with an adequate level of protection.
