Our Services
To support you competently and efficiently in your product development and clinical data collection, our services cover the entire value chain from project idea to clinical data generation. Depending on your needs (regulatory approval, re-registration), we can set up an appropriate strategic plan.
Partner Centers
The CIR wants to ensure short times for patient admission combined with high quality standards. Therefore, we cooperate with different centers worldwide. Depending on the objective of the planned study, we select the most suitable centers with the appropriate patient pool.
Our mission
The Center of Implant Research (CIR) at the University of Zurich (UZH) is a platform for research and development in dental implantology. It provides a service structure with facilities and professional staff to manage a global network of clinical research activities. Through our partner universities, overall clinical trial performance and efficiency can be significantly improved. This ensures that time for new developments or performance of clinical trials can be considerably reduced.
The CIR is the result of a 10 year development in dental implantology driven by the faculty members of the Clinic for Reconstructive Dentistry.
Your reliable partner for dental clinical studies
Our goal is to improve oral healthcare worldwide by developing and improving clinical therapies in the field of implant and regenerative dentistry. Together with national and international partners, we aim to improve and facilitate global clinical research by providing high-quality service structures with qualified personnel and state-of-the-art infrastructure to various stakeholders such as scientists, clinicians, university and industry partners and regulatory authorities.
The CIR's services cover all scientific steps of the value chain in the development of new therapeutic strategies. From the generation of ideas to the execution of a clinical trial, Swiss quality standards form the basis of documentation and communication. Financially, the center is supported by donations, grants and industry partners.
